Re: Curious - Linux or Android Port?

I've looked at this a couple of times.

Thank you.

Curious - Linux or Android Port?

This is not a high priority.... I occasionally play with the idea of a music server. Politically, I'd like to do that in Linux or even android - less overhead etc.. etc.... Then I consider losing Tuniac and I rethink everything! :) What would you do for a music server? What's the earliest version of...

Column Selection & DB Size

Hi.

Things are going great. Thank you.

Perhaps a stupid question. Column selection doesn't change the size of the Database, only what is reported from the database?

All the options shown are already in the database, right?

Re: Can't search by path?

I tried playing with the user search. Tried file name and anything else I could think of but the functionality did not return.

To be clear, I'd like to search for a word in the song path.

eg. \canadian\yodle\hockey\speach about eagles.mp3

Could be selected by either 'hockey' or "yodle.

Can't search by path?

In reinstalling or in my options, I've lost a feature I appreciated. I store my music by artist and a bootleg is in a subdirectory called 'btlg'. A path might look like: <Artist>\<album> <Artist>\btlg\<album> I did this so I can find all the work by <Artist> and then remove noisy recordings that are...

Re: Songlist Request.

I don't know how you'd do this but I can imagine something easy for the user to try. You could add an icon to songlist titles with children, ie Africa*. Then you could leave the top level of lists visually very similar. The icon would signify that there were other (child) song lists inside. Ideally,...

Re: Songlist Request.

I'm a very visual person. Tuniac is actually much much better at remembering my collection than I am. I can't reasonably have enough playlists in the lefthand window. I can organize my thinking but I can't improve my memory. What I'd like is to be able to put the playlists somewhere by design and on...

Songlist Request.

Songlists become my way of remembering great performers but I very often forget whats in my own collection. If it was possible, I'd like a lower collapsing song list window(s) for whatever I want.... eg. I select all surfing music bands and put them all in a collection for a party or an evening. Ope...
