Re: Curious - Linux or Android Port?
I run a fairly old QNAP TS-219P II NAS running Debian Linux, eg not QNAP standard Linux OS. The Debian install makes the box a lot more flexible with what can be installed. On the NAS I run Logitech Media Server for my Squeezeboxes. I own Squeezebox Radio, Touch, Classic/V3 and Boom. Previously I ha...

Re: Column Selection & DB Size
Yes everything is added to the DB when the file was first imported in to Tuniac or when you tell Tuniac to update the file, excluding album art which is loaded as needed. The DB is saved to disk on close or when you force a save. The DB includes all fields regardless of what you selected to show. Th...

Re: Can't search by path?
The path is the URL.
Have you selected URL as something to search for?
filename is only "speach about eagles.mp3"
URL is "\canadian\yodle\hockey\speach about eagles.mp3"
URL search works for me.

Re: Can't search by path?
I have a feeling I screwed up the "user search" selection for searching in a db migration a few updates ago. It looks selected but may not function correctly. You likely need to just change search to something else, eg artist and back to user search. Press the question mark next to the sea...

Re: Experimenting with Tuniac: WIP Subsonic support
And that translating part might suck a bit. I don't think there is currently any file handler plugin system. Eg subsonic:// currently would need to be translated by tuniac itself or the decoder. But you likely want to reuse the existing decoders for MP3 or whatever file format. Tuniac does have file...

Re: Experimenting with Tuniac: WIP Subsonic support
Oh wow! New code to Tuniac! In my mind all streaming services etc would be a new playlist type. Look at how the cdda stuff is handled by Tuniac with its own purpose built playlist window and playlist management code. I would have a search box at the top right to look normal and display results as a ...
